I have been working at the clinic since 2015 offering Remedial and Sports Massage.
Massage reduces tension and tenderness in the muscle as well as stretching the muscle and other connective tissues allowing the body to move more freely. Easing tension helps with stress, postural problems, improves sense of well-being and can aid recovery from sports performance. Massage can be used to help maintain healthy functioning muscles as well as treating overworked or injured muscles and connective tissues to prevent further injury.
Since March 2019 I started exercise classes at the clinic after 4 years experience working in a Pilates studio.
I teach weekly group movement classes, these are a combination of Pilates with a mix of Tai Chi adapted exercises and yoga. By keeping class sizes small it enables me to observe and help each individual get the maximum benefit from their session.
These classes are perfect for anyone continuing on from Physiotherapy rehab or wanting to improve their mobility, strength and flexibility in a friendly welcoming environment.
Combining my skills and working along side the physiotherapists enables me to further develop my knowledge and understanding of the body.
